Design background:

The design is set against the backdrop of the Australian bushfires. It explores how skyscrapers can be utilized to effectively prevent forest fires or respond promptly to suppress them when they occur.

Design:

Our approach focuses on timely suppression of wildfires to minimize the damage they cause. The design is inspired by the shape of an umbrella. In the event of a fire, the building unfolds, enveloping the fire-affected area. Once the oxygen is depleted within the enclosed space, the fire is extinguished. Due to the dispersed, point-like distribution of these structures, they effectively act as barriers to prevent the spread of wildfires.
